Work stays clear after it has been assigned
When work is passed on by word of mouth, the room, the owner or the due time can get lost on the way. In Sidrahoc, a task keeps them, from the moment it is created until a lead can check the result.

Where hotel work loses its context
The work itself is usually simple. What makes it difficult is the information around it, passed on by phone, in a message group or in a note at the desk.
Said, but not recorded
A request made at the desk or on the phone lives in one person's memory until it is done, or forgotten.
The place stays vague
A room or an area is mentioned once, and whoever picks up the work has to ask again.
The owner is assumed
Several people hear a request, and each of them assumes that someone else has it.
The status is unknown
Whether the work has started, is waiting or is finished has to be asked, not seen.
Leads have to chase
Leads ask around for updates instead of looking at the current state.
What makes a task useful in daily operation
Task management in a hotel means that every piece of work has an owner, a place, a priority and a due time, and that its progress can be followed. A task in Sidrahoc answers the questions that both the person doing the work and the person coordinating it ask.
- What needs to be done?
- A clear title in everyday language, so the task can be understood without a phone call.
- Where?
- The room or area is recorded with the task, so nobody has to ask again.
- Who is responsible?
- A person or a team. Responsibility is visible, not assumed.
- How urgent is it?
- A priority shows which work comes first.
- By when?
- The due time shows when action is expected. In the task lists, work that is past due stands out.
- Where does it stand?
- A status that moves with the work, so progress can be seen without asking.
- Does it need a record?
- Where a record matters, a task can ask for proof, and the Mobile App shows what is expected.
Coordinated in the Web Dashboard, carried out in the Mobile App
The same task is seen from two sides. Leads coordinate it where they have the overview. Teams carry it out where the work happens. Both work from one shared operational status.
Web Dashboard
Coordinate the work
- See the hotel's tasks in one structured list, with status, priority, owner and due time
- Assign tasks to a person or a team, including many tasks at once
- Follow progress and spot work that is past due
- Check completed work and release it
Mobile App
Carry out the work
- See the work assigned to you, with its place and priority
- Open a task to see what is expected and by when
- Update the status as the work moves on
- See what has to be documented when a task asks for a record
One task, from request to follow-up
A guest arrives in the afternoon, and a room has to be checked first. This is how that task moves through the hotel.
Example scenario with fictional details. How it runs in your hotel depends on how Sidrahoc is configured for you.
- 1
Web Dashboard
Created with its context
In the Web Dashboard, a duty manager records a task: check room 214 before the afternoon arrival. The task carries the room, a priority and a due time.
- 2
Web Dashboard
Given an owner
The housekeeping lead assigns the task to a team member. From then on it has a named owner.
- 3
Mobile App
Seen on the phone
The team member opens the Mobile App and sees the task with its room, priority and due time.
- 4
Mobile App
Updated and documented
As the work moves on, the team member updates the status. If the task asks for a record, the app shows what is expected. At the end, the team member records the completion.
- 5
Web Dashboard
Followed and checked
The housekeeping lead sees the current status in the Web Dashboard, checks the result and releases it.
What proof means in Sidrahoc
In Sidrahoc, proof means that finished work is documented instead of only reported. It gives a lead something to check, and everyone something to refer back to.
Documented, not only reported
Whoever finishes a task records the completion in the Mobile App, instead of reporting it by word of mouth.
A record where it matters
Where a record matters, a task can ask for proof. The Mobile App shows what is expected.
A history to refer back to
Each task has a history, so follow-up starts from what is on record.
Checked by a lead
A department lead can check the result and release it.
Visibility for the people who coordinate
Leads should not have to ask around to know where work stands. Each role sees what fits its job.
- Duty managers
- What is open, who has taken it and what is due, in one list.
- Department heads
- How the work of their team is moving, and what is waiting for a check.
- General managers and owners
- That open work belongs to someone, without a round of phone calls.
Part of a wider operation
Tasks are one area of Sidrahoc, the Hotel Operations Center. The same Web Dashboard and Mobile App also cover room readiness, incidents and management visibility.
- Room Readiness
One room status for front office and housekeeping.
- Incidents & Maintenance
Issues stay visible until they are resolved.
- Management & Reports
The Web Dashboard brings urgent items forward, and reports show what changed.
Questions about tasks and proof
Who uses Tasks & Proof?
Tasks cut across departments. Duty managers and department heads coordinate the work, and the housekeeping, maintenance and front office teams carry it out. Each person sees the work that fits their role.
Is this only for housekeeping?
No. Any department can have tasks, and the same task works for housekeeping, maintenance and front office. We usually recommend starting with housekeeping or maintenance and extending from there.
Can staff update their work from the phone?
Yes. In the Mobile App, team members see the work assigned to them and update its status as the work moves on. The app runs on Android and iOS phones.
What does proof mean?
Finished work is documented instead of only reported. Where a record matters, a task can ask for proof, and a department lead can check the result and release it.
Does Sidrahoc replace our existing hotel systems?
No. Your PMS remains the system for reservations, guests, stays and billing. Sidrahoc covers the operational work around them.
